Did you know that just one album purchase supports more than even 3000 plays on Spotify? That album purchase is worth even more plays on YouTube; Soundcloud doesn't pay anything for streams. All of those services are great in different ways, but purchases on Bandcamp are one of the better ways to support the creation of more music you like.
What would I use the money for? Distribution services, up front costs for physical releases (CDs, Cassettes, or USB Sticks), subscription fees for music production tools, recording gear, live performance gear. In short, it helps me both make more music and share it with people that want to hear it.
